EDEXCEL IGCSE Physics - questions for FE 2013 specification

These are designed to be relatively straight-forward questions for students to complete post-home learning and pre-lesson so that the teacher can assess the level of learning that has taken place at home.  This enables a "flipped classroom" where students prepare for a lesson at home and the teacher can quickly assess what level of understanding they are bringing to the lesson and focus in on helping them with their weaknesses and promoting higher order thinking skills in the lesson.  The quizzes work equally well with other learning models, for example where they are used as an assessment of learning during class.  

Each question is tagged by objective number and questions are grouped into Units and subunits that are informed by the IGCSE Physics specification.  This tagging by objective enables quick identification of objectives where the class is struggling by using the "analyse" tool in Yacapaca

Before each quiz students are warned that they may need a calculator and rough paper for calculation questions; this is considered good practice for all Physics students, however not all quizzes contain calculation questions.  

At my school there are two distinct pathways through IGCSE Science:
1. "Specialist in Science" (SP) classes study EDEXCEL IGCSE Physics (and Chem and Bio).  These classes are assigned quizzes that are identified as (ST+SP) and (SP only).  
2. "Standard Science" (ST) classes study EDEXCEL IGCSE Double Award Science.  These classes are assigned quizzes that are identified as (ST+SP) and (ST only).  For these quizzes there are no "bold" objectives contained within the quiz.
