Algebra 1
Expressing the area and perimeter of rectangles using algebraic expressions.
Brackets 1
There will be one set of brackets to expand, with the possibility of a negative term in the brackets.
Brackets 2
An extension of Brackets 1, to include:  3 terms in the brackets, variables multiplied together (the answer to which, may need to be written in alphabetical order) and variables preceded with a number.
Brackets 3
The term outside the brackets is negative, hence, pupils will need to be able to multiply two negative terms together.
Brackets 4
There will be two sets of brackets to expand, such as 3(4a + 2) + 2(2a - 7), which will then need to be simplified.
Collecting terms 1
There will be more than one variable, but no negative terms, to collect in this quiz.
Collecting terms 2
There will only be one variable, but there will be negative terms to collect.
Collecting terms 3
There will be two or more variables and negative terms.
Collecting terms 4
Pupils will need to know that 2wd is the same as 2dw in order to simplify these expressions.
Equivalent Expressions
