Do your pupils use Bebo, MySpace or Facebook? THis multiple-choice survey gives you a snapshot of students' computer awareness/computer habits. The Whiteboard Tool is fantastic for discussing the results with the class. It anonymises results, thus protecting kids who stated 'uncool' preferences.

Super student surveys for any ICT department. In a few questions the language is specific to the English curriculum, but by joining the ICT Department Questionnaire group, you could easily compile alternative versions for different curricula.

Fantastic resource that simultaneously helps your new intake to settle into the school, and gives you high-quality, collated data on what their issues and concerns are.

The 25-question survey will help you to recognise and manage the concerns and opinions of students who are new to your school. Responses are automatically collated and can be used to prompt classroom discussion. Written by Michelle Smith of Milton Keynes LEA.

The 'All About Me' ePortfolio task is a great way to introduce your students (and yourself) to simple ePortfolio tasks. Students add text and pictures to each card in response to stimulus questions. You can view their work whilst it is in progress, and add comments as appropriate. When finished, they choose a style and download the finished result to the school server, or to a CD to take home.

Really useful bullying survey. Remember when running this it is very important to show students only aggregated results. Individuals' responses must never be divulged.
